Basic Golden Milk Recipe
Whip up this concoction for a delicious and simple golden milk recipe.
The first thing you’ll need is the paste, which you can later add to a milk of your choice. For the paste, you will need:
Here’s how to make it:
Add the turmeric and pepper to a pan of water and boil on medium heat.
Simmer for 7 minutes and stir continuously.
You’re looking for a paste-like consistency (add water if needed).
Let it cool and store in an airtight container.
Store in the fridge and your paste base should be good for up to 3 weeks. (Try and use right away is best.)
To make the milk
Simply add ½ tsp of the paste into a glass of milk of your choice.
We recommend almond milk or coconut milk, this is a favorite of some of our readers (Thanks Malin Loof).
Add some organic honey to taste if you need it sweetened, or cinnamon is another option if you are watching the calories.
