Tips to Reduce Acne according to Ayurveda

Wash your face thoroughly with lukewarm water at least 3-4 times a day.

Include blood purifying herbs in your diet like neem and turmeric which also have an anti-bacterial effect to cleanse and heal the acne quicker. Application of neem works wonders in case of cystic acne.

Complexion cleansers like sandalwood and multani mitti can keep oil and breakouts at bay.

Nutmeg application can reduce scars and blemishes.

Amla nourishes the skin and acts as a natural cleanser. This reduces pimples caused due to bacteria and dirt.

Honey for Acne Treatment

Honey is wonderful for you. Whether it’s the literal intake of honey or applying it externally. Apply honey to your skin regularly every morning. With slightly moist fingers, apply ½ teaspoon of raw honey to your face and rinse in five minutes. This honey cleansing method will eliminate excess oil and keep your skin moisturized at the same time.

Natural Face Wash for Acne

Use tulsi (holy basil) paste on a regular basis to get rid of acne.

Cucumber juice works amazing as a natural face cleanser. It helps to soothe your skin and keep it soft. Mix a teaspoon of organic milk to the cucumber juice and apply to the face with a cotton pad.

Lemon juice also works as a great face wash for your skin. It acts as a natural exfoliator, skin brightener and is anti-bacterial.
