A clumpy whitish discharge could mean a yeast infection. Yeast and fungus generally tend to thrive on dark, moist and warm environments. This is why during the summers, when you tend to sweat a lot, it’s possible that it could bring on a yeast infection. Avoid wearing synthetic clothes in the summer and stick to cottons.
What usually accompanies the yellowish, pus- like color is an itch and a funky smell in your V area. If this is happening to you, then you should consult a gynecologist immediately. It could be gonorrhea, chlamydia or a pelvic infection.
Greenish-Gray and Foamy
This type of discharge is a sign of a bacterial infection. This is caused due to an imbalance of the regular microorganisms in your vagina. If you are suffering from bacterial vaginosis, it is recommended to abstain from sex and use a simple antibacterial to cure it.
Natural Remedies for Vaginal Discharge
Yogurt is very helpful in eradicating vaginal discharge. It can help kill bad bacteria residing in your vaginal area.
You can try boiling fenugreek seeds in water and drinking the decoction. This can prove to be beneficial in getting rid of vaginal discharge.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Add about 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to warm bath water. This helps to counterbalance the alkaline conditions in the vagina created by odor-causing bacteria.
