Uses of Bala
Arthritis: Apply a paste of bala roots over painful joints.
Fever with Fits: Decoction of the root of bala and ginger is effective in intermittent fever with cold shivers.
Nervous System Disorders (Facial Paralysis and Sciatica): Apply the root paste or massage with bala siddha oil.
Diabetes and Arrhythmia: Crush the plant and extract its juice. Strain and take half tsp thrice daily.
Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation: Bala is a well-known energy tonic that enhances sexual potency and ojas.
